Inside the modern Information Centre, a
permanent exhibition sheds light on a variety of nature-related
as biological diversity and the history and development of the Prora DBU
Natural Heritage Site and the island of Rügen,
and offers insights into the prevailing ecosystems: forests, open
habitats and wetlands. The exhibition also spotlights the topic of
fascinating and eventful geological history. Visitors of all ages are invited
experience and explore this array of topics at 17 different
stations. Interactive applications, hands-on experiments and multimedia
provide exciting entertainment while offering new insights.
Especially children are welcome here. The exhibition’s child-friendly audiostations, texts and interactive touchpads convey new and interesting messages in a manner that is easy and fun for children to understand. In addition to the permanent exhibition, a temporary exhibition which is renewed every six months invites visitors to explore even more subjects.
